Net2Net President Rohini A. Solos has been selected by the Minority Enterprise Executive Council (MEEC) as one of the 25 Powerful Minority Women In Business. The MEEC will host its 4th Annual Awards Luncheon to honor 25 Powerful Minority Women In Business, theme: "Applauding Excellence." This event is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2008 and will be held at The Omni Shoreham Hotel located at 2500 Calvert Street, NW, in Washington, D.C. 20008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This Luncheon is recognizing women from corporations as well as the small business arena who are executives, decision-makers, presidents and chief executive officers; women who are making major contributions to the business community and creating opportunities for other entrepreneurs.

Net2Net has completed development of an outdoor auditorium for NDU's Information Resources Management College (IRMC). The auditorium is situated on 4 IRMC Second Life ^TM islands and has a seating capacity for 240 avatars. It will be used by IRMC to host events and provide interactive features such as streaming audio, video and image displays.
